Treasures from Heaven

Yesterday I had the most delightful day. My girls (daughter and granddaughters) met me in Houlton, which is an hour from my home and an hour and a half drive for them. We had lunch at the Shamrock cafe, then put Lily in the stroller and visited a few stores. It was a nearly springlike day. We laughed and shopped and shared until the time flew away.

Today I awoke to a near blizzard scene. Winter's back. The girls are curled up nearly over 150 miles away in their cozy home and I am here, listening to the wind howl.

I have been memorizing a few verses this week. One is Psalm 31:19.
"How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you..."

I texted Ken this morning and told her that God opened His heavenly treasure chest and gave me yesterday. :)

I am glad you had such a good day with your girls....Isn't it amazing how quickly the weather can change.....This has been a strange winter weather wise....I wonder if the spring is going to be this way too....

Stay warm and ponder on your visit....
