I live in Aroostook County at the top of Maine where our economy's mainstay is potato farming. The constant rain since last May has seriously affected the crop.
I felt sad today when I snapped this photo. The field stands ready to harvest but it is too wet.
I keep praying that the russet crop will withstand the next several days and bring hope.
