When I returned home from the conference, I found a bag of fiddleheads in my refrigerator. To my delight, my neighbors picked more than they could use and gave some to Hubby.
I blanched and froze four quarts, with enough left over for supper.
I think fiddleheads are a Maine thing, but I didn't stop to google it.
Love them with butter and vinegar!
